Twitter has revolutionized the world. Not just the web, but the world. Why is that? Because Twitter goes with you when you “leave” the internet, or when you close the lid on your laptop. If this is all new to you, check out this little video.
What I’m interested in is, all you tweets – what application are you using to manage twitter? I’ve tried about four or five on both PC and Mac. Right now I’ve landed on Funkatron’s application, Spaz (which I heard about from my good friend, James). It seems to be very stable and reliable. Two complaints I have are:
- The user interface (what it looks like on my screen) is a little too big. It takes up a lot of real estate. There’s other themes that are smaller, but they don’t look good. There’s also user themes, but apparently I am not smart enough to install them. I tried and I destroyed my spaz ap and it took me a couple days to figure out how to get it back to normal.
- It seems to hang every once in a while and then I’ll get a whole mess of updates. I haven’t found a button that forces Spaz to update, although you can set it up to get the maximum updates per hour.
Anyways, there’s a plethora of Twitter applications for you to try; in fact, Twitter has a page just for downloads. Check em out here.
And now it’s time to vote! Vote below for your favorite Twitter tool! (oh yeah, and don’t forget to leave some helpful information when you comment – especially if you voted for other).
