Jen and I looked at each other the other day, on our way to church, and said something to the effect of “OMG, Miles goes to Club 45 today!” (G standing for “gosh” of course). Club 45 is Rancho Community Church’s 4th & 5th grade ministry.

What happened to this little guy?

Time flies, so they say…

Well, we can’t stop it, so we might as well remember and enjoy each moment we have with this special boy. He made it through 3rd grade with flying colors – we couldn’t be prouder of him. He got straight A’s all year, was an avid reader, excellent at math (what?!), and quite the sportsman.

Some noteable things about Miles:

  • He loves Xbox – his favorite game is Madden 12, and he’s hoping for Madden 13 for his upcoming birthday
  • He loves Football and seriously knows more about the teams/players than I do
  • We love passing the football – I think my right arm is twice as big as my left from all the footballs we throw back & forth over the past months
  • Miles is and always has been a special boy – very intelligent, sensitive, kind, and caring – we hope to nurture those characteristics in him
My prayer for him is that he would be able to really enjoy life, be an obedient son, a loving brother, a diligent student, and a kind friend.

Here’s a little video of Miles and his teacher, Mrs. DeRusha, wrapping up his year of 3rd grade.
