vecteezy free vectors

As a designer, I’ll be the first to admit that a lot of my designs contain parts and pieces from all over the place; fonts, brushes, colors, vectors, etc. Let’s focus on “vectors” for this post. There’s a great little write up on vectors at Wikipedia – go there and read it for details. The short version is that vectors are typically safe for things like screen printing (clothes, etc.), making large signs, decals and more. The advantage of using vectors is that they can be scaled without losing image resolution (we’ve all see those fuzzy or squared looking graphics – those are usually bitmaps that have been scaled up and have lost their resolution or sharpness. Vectors can help solve that problem…

Anyway – there’s a great resource at Vecteezy.com with tons of free vectors available for download. I’ve used this site for quite a while and have found quite a few great resources there. Go check it out.
